Synopsis: Lies, distrust and duplicity plague the house of Batiatus and impact the hopes of both Barca and Spartacus, who have benefited from good fortune and envision a future away from the grounds. Thank GOD they killed his wife. I was getting sick of her. This episode did not disappoint. It was very good. I was expecting him to get caught in the end and his wife eventually getting killed by the master but this was better. His master had his wife’s ride ambushed and had her killed. Lucy Lawless’s expression was priceless. 1st with shock, 2nd happiness and joy. She needed a pick me up because her lover is dying of cuts. I feel for the mistress of the house. I don’t like Spartacus much. He is an ungrateful a-_hole!

WOW! I am heartbroken for Spartacus! Everything he did, he did for Sura. And after Spartacus saves Batiatus’s life, he still has Sura killed. Spartacus will have a hard time getting over her death. I wonder if he will have a new lover in the future…
